Dostana 2 starring Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor which has been delayed for quite some time now, is reported to go back on floors. As per reports in ETimes, the film team is set to resume the shoot from April 10, 2021. However, the shoot location is yet to be announced, the source close to the publication also shared that the team will finalize the decision by the end of March 2021. Dostana 2 went on floors in 2020 before the COVID-19 pandemic pressed a pause button.
The source informed, “The date is most likely April 10. The venue will be announced soon. With Corona still playing havoc in most parts, expect that decision to be taken only closer to the fourth week of March.” Reports also stated that a major portion of the film is yet to be shot; hence the makers might chalk out a long shooting schedule to film those. Directed by Collin D'Cunha, a few portions of the movie were supposed to be shot in the UK, but due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this seems difficult.
This will be a relief to the makers of Dostana 2 as the film is finally resuming the shoot.
Dostana 2 will be marking the debut of Lakshya Lalwani in the tinsel town; currently Kartik Aaryan is shooting for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Meanwhile, Tabu who is also signed for the film has reunited with the team. If everything falls in place, we might get to witness Dostana 2 in 2022.
