Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, known for her advocacy of body positivity and embracing natural beauty, has shared her thoughts on aging and cosmetic enhancements. At 44, Kareena firmly believes in staying true to herself without altering her appearance through procedures like Botox or cosmetic surgery. In a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, she revealed that she doesn’t feel pressured to look younger or fight the natural signs of aging. "Age is a part of beauty. It’s not about fighting lines or trying to look younger; it’s about embracing and loving the age you’re at. I’m 44 and have never felt better," Kareena shared.

She also mentioned that her confidence in her natural appearance is reinforced by her husband, actor Saif Ali Khan, who finds her 'sexy.' Kareena added that she is content with how she looks and feels. "I don’t feel the need for Botox or any cosmetic enhancements. My husband finds me sexy, my friends say I look amazing, and my films are thriving. I play roles that reflect my age and am proud of it. I want people to see me for who I am and appreciate that."

Kareena emphasized that her focus is now on being comfortable with herself. Reflecting on her physical transformation over the years, she shared that, in her younger days, she didn’t give much thought to her body. "In my teens, I was just a Punjabi Kapoor, enjoying food and life without much concern. Transitioning to a size zero for a role was never planned—it was just something I did. I never imagined it would spark such a craze." Today, Kareena focuses more on feeling good and maintaining her sense of self, rather than chasing societal standards of beauty.

On the professional front, Kareena is preparing for the release of her upcoming film, The Buckingham Murders. Besides playing the lead role, she has also co-produced the film with Ektaa Kapoor. In this project, she portrays a British-Indian detective tasked with solving the murder of a 10-year-old child. Directed by Hansal Mehta, the film is set to release on September 13, marking another significant moment in her evolving career. Kareena’s commitment to portraying roles that reflect her real age while producing quality content further highlights her authenticity and dedication to her craft. Kareena's candid reflections on aging and her journey in the film industry demonstrate her confidence in embracing her true self, both on and off the screen.
