Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan are undoubtedly one of the most sought after couples in Bollywood. Time and again the couple has set goals for young and aspiring people. May it be career wise, relationship wise or now as parents to young kids. In a recent interview the actress, who has returned from London after shooting for Hansal Mehta’s next movie, opened up about finding a work-life balance alongside her hubby.
She revealed that while one of them is busy shooting for a movie, the other stays at home with the kids as they need a lot of attention from their parents. Opening up about their recent schedule, the 42-year-old actress said that she is very lucky to have Saif as a husband, since her works in the same profession as her. She continued, “We take turns as to when we have to travel. When I was doing Hansal’s film Saif was at home with the kids, and now he’s doing a film in Amritsar. And I’m at home till March. And then after that, he finishes and stays home, and then I go into The Crew.”

The Jab We Met actress went on to share her experience as a parent. She said that kids in their developing stages of life need a lot of focus from their parents, teachers and friends. She shared, “It’s a lot of meticulous planning, but if you’re well-planned, I think you can achieve it. It’s not the quantity of time that you spend with your children, that’s what I’ve learned, in the five-six years that I’ve been a parent, it’s the quality of time that you give them without distraction, because children want focus from their parents, from their teachers from their friends, that’s what they need.”
For the unversed, Saif and Kareena, the couple tied the knot in 2012 and welcomed two adorable sons Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan. Apart from them, Saif has a daughter Sara Ali Khan and son Ibrahim Ali Khan from his first marriage with actress Amrita Singh.
On the work front, Kareena Kapoor Khan, who was last seen in Laal Singh Chaddha alongside Aamir Khan has movies like The Crew, Hansal Mehta's next, Sujoy Ghosh’s untitled movie based on the Japanese bestseller The Devotion of Suspect X by Keigo Higashino in the pipeline.
