Kareena Kapoor Khan is not just an outstanding actor but she is also a doting mom to two kids and a proud housewife. She is one such star who knows how to strike a perfect balance in her professional as well as personal life. In a recent interview, Bebo confesses that she loves being a housewife and managing her home. The actress revealed there are some specific departments of her household that are strictly dedicated under her jurisdiction, especially the department of food in her home.
Speaking with Film Companion, the Jab We Met Actress said, “Everything is my department, from planning what the kids eat at home, their playdates, their classes, generally ghar pe khana kya bana hai, sahab kya kha rahe hain… I love doing all of that. I love multi-tasking. I love being an actor, a star, a housewife. I love it.” She added she gets even more excited when she hosts a party at her home.
“I love handling the home. If I’m having people over, I like the fact that I’ll clean the table probably on my own, or I’ll say, Aise karo, waise lagao. I like getting into all of that. In the same interview, the 42-year-old actress also mentioned that she has trained her kids- Taimur and Jeh to contribute to household chores with her. She went on to state that there is a lot of excitement when their grandparents are coming home. “I’ll tell Tim, ‘Come, help lay the table’. They see Saif cooking, the idea of being together is more precious than going to Disneyland,” the mommy further shared.
Kareena, who is married to Saif Ali Khan, welcomed her first child son Taimur in 2016. The couple was blessed with their second bundle of joy, Jeh in 2021. Recently, they all went to Africa for a fun-filled family vacation and Kareena shared glimpses of it on her Instagram handle. She dropped a picture showing Saif, Tim, and Jeh having a first encounter with a giraffe.
