Just around Saif Ali Khan’s 50th birthday, Kareena Kapoor Khan broke the news of expecting her second child. The news got her fans excited and showered her with blessings, followed by which the actress has been busy fulfilling her work commitments. But unlike the times when she conceived her son Taimur Ali Khan, the Bollywood diva speaks about how this second pregnancy will be different then the first one. In conversation with film critic Anupama Chopra, she revealed that she put on 25 kgs when she was expecting Taimur but not this time for sure.
During her chat with the film critic, she shared when she was expecting Taimur everyone around her advised her to eat a lot which led the actress to take her body for granted and she gained terribly weight. But this time she is trying her level best to keep it healthy as she knows now what her body needs. Kareena said, “Last time, I just took myself for granted and became huge. I put on 25 Kgs. I don’t want to do that. I just want to be healthy and fit. I think the first time, it's just excitement. Everyone’s like parathe khao, ghee khao, doodh piyo, besan ka laddoos are coming. And now, I’m like listen I have done it before, I know what my body requires.”
She also revealed her doctor too broke the myth where mostly expecting mothers are told to eat for their baby as well, “My doctor’s like ‘listen you are not eating for two, that is just a myth. Just be healthy and be safe.’ And that is what I am trying to do,” she added.
