One recent campaign of theirs on Twitter has them delivering social messages regarding the COVID-19 situation via Bollywood in a humorous way. They’ve been sharing various Bollywood memes featuring Bollywood stars and sending the social distancing message. The Bollywood stars included Dev Anand, Madhuri Dixit, Govinda, Abhishek Bachan and Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan.
One of the posters shared by Mumbai Police on their Twitter account featured Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan. It was a witty take on their names, and it read, “Agar tum mask neeche ‘Kareena’ toh bohot un-‘Saif’ situation ho sakta hai,” while warning people about the unsafe situation amid COVID-19 pandemic, if masks aren’t worn. Kareena has been quite active on social media, and has been sharing important updates and announcements made by the BMC on her Instagram stories. A few days ago, she also shared tips on dealing with COVID anxiety, and wrote, “Be kind to your mind. Reach out to a loved one or a professional mental health expert when the going gets tough and always make time to unwind.”
