On Wednesday, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan announced that they are expecting an addition to the family and since then congratulatory messages from their family and friends came in order. As soon as the news broke in the media, the fans also poured in congratulation messages on social media. While some were overjoyed to hear this news, there were some who were concerned about something else and that is her film, Takht. That's right, fans are worried about the fate of her upcoming film, Takht. Some wondered if Takht is going to get shelved while some thought that Takht might not happen anytime soon.
On the other hand, the multi-starrer, magnum opus and the most-awaited film Takht which boasts of some ultimate stars like Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar, Vicky Kaushal, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor, has been reportedly put on hold for now, as reported by Mumbai Mirror. A source close to the development claimed that the narrative of Takht needs to be done together and this cannot happen now as they want to adhere to the social distancing norms. Hence, the film has been put on hold. Well, if the latest reports are true then in that case, one only has to wait a little longer to see the film on the big screen.
Yesterday, an official announcement from Saif Ali Khan's PR team was released which read, "We are very pleased to announce that we are expecting an addition to our family !!Thank you to all our well wishers for all their love and support." In fact, giving out a hint, Randhir Kapoor was recently quoted saying, "I hope it's true and if so, I would be very happy. Doh bachche toh hone chahiye to give each other company."
Meanwhile, Bebo also has Laal Singh Chaddha with Aamir Khan and Mona Singh. Reportedly, the film is expected to release in Christmas 2021 instead of this year owing to the Coronavirus pandemic.
