Over the years, Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor Khan became an inspiration for working women. Having maintained a perfect work-life balance, she never shied away from sharing her experiences of juggling between her professional commitments and spending much-needed quality time with her extended families and sons Taimur Ali Khan, Jehangir Ali Khan. She was recently appointed as the UNICEF National Ambassador of India, for which she attended a UN event in Delhi on Saturday. It was during the event that she yet again opened up about her kids.
Sharing a few of her experiences raising Taimur and Jeh, she recalled how they wanted to spend time with her and they had a holiday. However, she had to rush to Delhi for the event. Kareena went on to recall how her elder son started to complain and tell her that he wanted to be with her. Explaining how she promised to spend more time with them after she returns home, quoted by Bollywood Shaadis, she added, “Taimur was like, 'You are always going to Delhi and Dubai for work, I want to be with you'. The 43-year-old actress went on to share how her elder son Taimur respects that both his parents are working individuals. He understands that his Abba and Amma work hard to bring food to the table. She said, “Somehow, he will respect the fact that Abba goes to work and comes home and the same goes for Amma. He understands the equality factor that both my parents are working. For the unversed, Kareena tied the knot with actor Saif Ali Khan in 2012. They welcomed two adorable sons Taimur Ali Khan (2016) and Jehangir Ali Khan (2021). Apart from them, Saif has a daughter Sara Ali Khan, and son Ibrahim Ali Khan from his first marriage with actress Amrita Singh. The actress has made it her mission to be as involved in her kids’ lives as possible and often takes to social media to share glimpses of the same on her official handle.
On the work front, Kareena Kapoor Khan was last seen in Crew, alongside Tabu and Kriti Sanon. She has Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again in her pipeline.
