Kareena Kapoor Khan recently took to her Instagram account to announce that she'll be reading extracts of the winning essay from India for Royal Commonwealth Society. She will be joining Stephen Fry, David Walliams and Alexandra Burke for the reading session. She will be reading an extract from an essay from India that won at The Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition 2020. The theme of this competition was Climate Action and the Commonwealth.

On Instagram, Kareena announced that she is honoured, as well as, nervous to be a part of this reading session. Sharing a collage that has pictures of all the readers, Kareena wrote, "Honoured and nervous to be reading out extracts from the winning essay from India... new experiences." Indeed, it will be an amazing experience for Kareena, as well as, her fans to see her being a part of a project with such eminent personalities.

Meanwhile, Kareena is currently in Dharamshala along with hubby Saif Ali Khan, son Taimur Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora. The two ladies joined their respective partners to celebrate Diwali. Saif and Arjun are in Dharamshala to shoot for their upcoming film Bhoot Police.

On the work front, Kareena will be seen in Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha. She has completed the shooting of the same. Kareena is also looking forward to the birth of her second child. It was recently that Saif and Kareena announced their second pregnancy.
