The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is currently probing the alleged drug nexus of Bollywood, following the sudden demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. IN connection to the case, the NCB has arrested SSR’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, Dharma Prouductions’ ex-staffer Kshitij Prasad and several others. The agency also questioned Bollywood actresses Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan and Rakul Preet Singh. Now, according to the latest reports by Times Now, the NCB may re-examine the video posted by filmmaker-producer Karan Johar from his 2019 house party.
As per the reports, the NCB has responded to filmmaker Karan Johar’s 2019 party video. Reportedly, the NCB will be re-examining the video from the part and might also summon actors for interrogation. The reports state that the investigating agency will be recording the statements of the actors either through email or through their respective lawyers.
While the agency continues to investigate the drug angle in connection to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, it was former MLA Manjinder Singh Sirsa who had filed a complaint with the NCB recently and even met with the senior officials, requesting them to investigate the alleged ‘drug party’ which was reportedly hosted by Karan Johar in 2019.
Speaking of the party last year, KJo shared a video that featured Bollywood actors on his social media, which raised many questions later. Later, the filmmaker released an official statement and rubbished the reports of consuming drugs at his house party. Read his statement
