Karan Johar has been on the receiving end of nasty trolls ever since Sushant Singh Rajput passed away. He is being accused of indulging in nepotism and not giving due credit to the outsiders in the industry. As the online trolling went out of control, Karan Johar distanced himself from social media and is now following only a handful of people on Twitter. Not just him, even his family got dragged in with trolls sending out threats to his kids and mother. The latest reports now suggest that he is planning to take action against these trolls.

A report in DNA has Karan Johar's close aide saying that the filmmaker has hired a team of lawyers and tech experts to track down these trolls who threatened to cause him and his family physical harm. The aide was quoted saying, "Karan is actively pursuing legal action. A team of lawyers, as well as online tech experts, have come together to see this through. The tech people in the team are tracking the social media handles that are trying to intimidate him through violence. They want to unearth these accounts, fake and real and submit the evidence to the relevant authorities. The comments got out of hand when people started to threaten physical harm and abuse to his children and gave rape threats against his mother."

For almost a month now, Karan Johar has maintained a low profile on all social media platforms. On Instagram, the last post he made was about Sushant Singh Rajput on his death.
