A few of Bollywood’s top production houses and four leading associations have joined hands and come together to file a lawsuit for ‘irresponsible reporting by certain media houses’. Bollywood producers- Karan Johar, Akshay Kumar, Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, Farhan Akhtar and others approached the Delhi High Court against two news channels, Republic TV and Times Now for using derogatory words like "filth", "scum" and "druggies” as well as some provocative expressions. Here’s a list of which production houses filed the case.
The names of leading associations who have filed the case are- The Film & Television Producers Guild of India (PGI), The Cine & TV Artistes’ Association (CINTAA), Indian Film and TV Producers Council (IFTPC), and Screenwriters Association (SWA). Speaking of production banners owned by Bollywood actors, the name of their banners are:

Meanwhile, the suit has been filed against Republic TV's Arnab Goswami and Pradeep Bhandari; as well as Rahul Shivshankar and Navika Kumar of the channel Times Now.
