Kapil Sharma To Star In 13 August 1947

Indian television's ace stand-up comedian Kapil Sharma has announced on Twitter that his production company K9 Productions will soon start working on a film titled- 13 August 1947.

A source close to the actor tells us, "Kapil will also star in 13 August 1947 which will be a period drama."

Clearly, Kapil now wants to try his hand at genres other than comedy.

13 August 1947 goes on floors early next year. The director of the film is however yet to be finalised.
