Rishab Shetty starrer ‘Kantara' has been garnering much praise and love ever since its Kannada version was released on September 30. The action drama has even managed to impress B-Town stars including Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Kangana Ranaut. The Queen actress recently watched ‘Kantara’ and could not help but sing praises for the film and for Rishab. A video of impressed Kangana showering compliments on the actioner has gone viral on social media.
The Tanu Weds Manu actress stated that she is “still shaking” and called the experience of watching the movie ‘an explosive.’ A fan club page of the actress posted her video where she could be heard saying, “I have just come out watching Kantara with my family, and I am still shaking. What an explosive experience. Rishab Shetty, hats off to you. Writing, directing, acting, action brilliant, unbelievable!.” ALSO READ:WHAT! Lauding the film for a perfect blend of action and local folklore, Ranaut went on to add that that is what is cinema and what films are for. She also mentioned that while she was watching the film in a theatre she heard so many people saying they had never seen anything like this. “Thank you for this film. I don’t think I will recover from this experience for another week,” the 35-year-old actress concluded.
Earlier, Shilpa had shared a still of the film from the theatre and gave a sweet shout-out to Rishab for celebrating the culture of Mangalore in his film.
On a related note, written, directed, and headlined by Rishab Shetty, 'Kantara' also stars Kishore, Sapthami Gowda, Achyuth Kumar, and Pramod Shetty. The film is now gearing up for its highly-awaited OTT debut. It will stream on Amazon Prime Video and the release date for the same is yet to be announced.
