After Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi, Kangana Ranaut is all set to wear the director’s hat once again. Titled as Aparajitha Ayodhya it is penned by writer KV Vijayendra Prasad who had penned her previous venture as well as the Baahubali series, this marks as the actress’ yet another ambitious project soon to get rolling.  The actress confirming the news, also mentioned of producing it under her production banner. Aparajitha Ayodhya is based on Ram Mandir case, thus making it one of the hottest topics deserving a watch on its release.

Kangana in conversation with Bombay Times, confirming the news said, “The plan wasn’t for me to direct the film. I started it as a project that I worked on from the concept level. I wanted to produce it and rope in another director for it. I was quite busy at that time to even think of direction. However, the script that KV Vijayendra Prasad shared was that of a film set on a large canvas, somewhat on the lines of the historical that I have directed before.”

Also the actress was not keen to direct the film but her partners as well as the efforts she had put in it right from scratch made her give a nod to it. “My collaborating partners were also keen that I direct it. Eventually, even I felt that maybe it’s best if I helm this film. So, it all happened organically,” she added.

Also this film will be marking her debut independent directorial venture. When she was asked if she is nervous with it she said, “No, it does not make me nervous. It’s tougher when you have to carry forward someone else’s vision and find your own vision somewhere in it. In this case, I have worked on this film from scratch, and it’s gratifying and simple once you have the clarity of thought.” ALSO READ: Kangana Ranaut's Pictures From Manali Amidst Lockdown Make Up For A Pretty Sight
