She shared a video on her social media handle, X (formerly Twitter), depicting hundreds of Muslims engaging in self-flagellation during the Muharram observance. The video shows men drenched in blood as they whip themselves with lashes and swords. Kangana described the scene as "weird and scary" and questioned if Hindu men should undergo "combat training" to survive in such a world. This isn't the first time Kangana has faced criticism for her outspoken views. Recently, she attracted ire for her comments on the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics. She labeled the event's performances as "hyper-sexualized and blasphemous." The controversy stemmed from a drag performance that apparently reimagined The Last Supper, which many found offensive. Kangana shared an image from the ceremony and expressed her disapproval, stating that the event seemed to be overly focused on homosexuality.
Kangana's comments were not well recieved on social media as netizens suggested the actress-politician not to instigate hatred among the Hindus. Well, what are your thoughts on the Queen actress' Tweet?
