Ever since Kangana Ranaut compared Mumbai to Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK), a tussle between the actress and Maharashtra government arose. From a heated Twitter war to BMC officials dismantling parts of the actress' Bandra office - Manikarnika Films, the entire episode has grabbed national headlines. This act of BMC has not gone down well with many netizens and celebs from the film fraternity as they came out in support of Kangana. The Queen actress even filed a petition against BMC for razing the ‘illegal’ portion of her office. It seems, this act has not broken her spirit as the actress said that she will still work from 'the ruins of the office' which will be a symbol of a 'woman's will' that rose in the world.
While taking to her Twitter handle, she shared a hard-hitting tweet saying that she doesn't have money to renovate now as she wasn't working since the lockdown. Her tweet, "I had my office opening on 15th Jan, shortly after corona hit us, like most of us I haven’t worked ever since, don’t have money to renovate it, I will work from those ruins keep that office ravaged as a symbol of a woman’s will that dared to rise in this world #KanganaVsUddhav"
Meanwhile, after her office was demolished, she even released a video on her Instagram account where she was seen talking about the Maharashtra government and movie mafia while claiming how they broke her office down. In regards to the video, reportedly, a case has been registered against Ranaut, stating that she tried to defame Maharashtra Government and the CM and mentioning that they have links with 'Bollywood Mafia.'
