Actress and filmmaker Kangana Ranaut is currently busy promoting her recently released film Tejas. Known for her witty personality and unfiltered opinions, the actress was all set to make a smashing comeback at the box office with a patriotic Bollywood film. However, it seems like the critics and the audience have been left unimpressed with her attempt. Despite the initial excitement surrounding her movie, it has failed to connect with the viewers. Amidst it all, she is all set to host a special screening of the film in Lucknow for Uttar Pradesh’s Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Talking about Tejas’ poor performance at the box-office, Kangana had recently taken to her official handle and urged her fans to watch her movie on the big screen. She encouraged everyone to do so, so that they could support theatres. She posted the video with the caption, “Even before covid theatrical footfalls were dipping drastically post covid it has become seriously rapid. Many theatres are shutting down and even after free tickets and many reasonable offers drastic footfall decline is continuing. Requesting people to watch films in theatres and enjoy with family and friends or else they ( theatres) won’t be able to survive.”
