Queen of controversy Kangana Ranaut is back on Twitter with a bang. Known for blunt statements, the actress who had heaped praises on Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan took a u-turn on Friday, when she bashed Bollywood celebrities like Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt celebrating the movie’s success despite facing multiple controversies and ‘boycott trend’. The actress has yet again targeted people who are calling Pathaan’s success a ‘triumph over hate’.

The actress, during the wrap-up party of her movie Emergency had said, “Pathaan acha kar rahi hai. Aisi films chalni chahiye aur I feel ki jo hamare Hindi cinema wale piche reh gaye hain, har insaan apne level pe koshish kar raha hai.” However, tweeting about the same she had expressed how even if the movie is all about loving India, it shows Pakistan and ISIS in a good light. Her tweet didn’t go down well with the netizens as they called her out to be double-faced. Talking about Pathaan, the movie marks the comeback of Shah Rukh Khan, on the big screen after five years. With the movie, YRF is all set to introduce the audience to its spy universe which consists of Salman Khan’s Tiger, Hrithik Roshan’s Kabir and Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan. The movie will see Deepika and Shah Rukh’s character teaming up to defeat John Abraham’s villainous character.
On the work front, Kangana Ranaut will be seen in Emergency, her first solo directorial project. She will be essaying the role of India’s late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. A period political drama, the movie is based on the emergency period in India during the mid-70s, which was announced by the then Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi. She will play the role of the late Prime Minister in the film. The movie also stars Anupam Kher, Milind Soman, Mahima Chaudhry, Satish Kaushik and Shreyas Talpade in pivotal roles.
