Rangoli Chandel avidly follows her sister’s footsteps when it comes to being bold and vocal about her thoughts. Now, Rangoli has taken a dig at Bollywood celebs like Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma and others for their #SafeHandsChallenge videos on social media. The Bollywood divas were nominated by WHO to endorse hygiene to fight against this deadly pandemic.
Rangoli mocked the videos of Bollywood divas washing hands. Rangoli remarked such videos as ‘lame videos’. A Twitter user tweeted, “Forgot to wash my hands .. Then watch a celebrity's handwashing video .. Now I am washing my hands again! Humanity is still alive today!.” Replying to which Rangoli wrote, “nice one!!! those celebrities’ videos are so lame teaching how to turn the tap on create lather from soap how to rub your hands and wash off the soap, ha ha what fools”
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of World Health Organization had nominated Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Deepika Padukone and other B-Town celebrities for #SafeHandsChallenge as this will give more mileage to the issue and create great awareness amongst their fan base.
