Jairam Thakur, Himachal Pradesh's Chief Minister stated that the Maharashtra Government carried out the demolition work at Kangana's office out of vendetta as she raised her voice. He was quoted saying, "The conduct of Maharashtra government is unfortunate, I condemn it. The daughter of Himachal Pradesh, Kangana Ranaut raised her voice and expressed her opinion. They (Maharashtra government) have done this out of vendetta. This is unfortunate," as reported by ANI.
Earlier, Jairam Thakur had responded to the letter written by Kangana's father asking for security for his daughter. Himachal Pradesh's CM had swiftly responded saying that it was their duty to provide security to her.
