Kangana Ranaut’s Mumbai office, Manikarnika Films was demolished in the drive carried out by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation for ‘structural violation’. Parts of Kangana’s office space in Pali Hill were demolished until the Bombay High Court ordered a stay and put hold after Ranaut’s lawyer filed a plea. After parts of Kangana Ranaut’s Mumbai office were demolished by the BMC, her mother, Asha Ranaut reacts from her Manali home. Kangana’s mom said that what Maharashtra government did is condemnable and mentioned that she is happy that the people of India are supporting her.
Speaking with ANI, Kangana Ranaut’s mother Asha Ranaut said that she condemns what happened to daughter’s Mumbai office, Manikarnika Films in the harshest of words. Kangana’s mom Asha Ranaut said, “What Maharashtra govt did is condemnable. I condemn that in harshest of words. I'm happy that entire India is standing with my daughter & people's blessings are with her. I'm proud of her, she always stood by truth & will continue doing that.”
Kangana Ranaut’s mom condemned the actions of the Maharashtra government. She went on to mention how she is happy that the whole of India is standing with her daughter and that the people’s blessings are with her. Asha Ranaut said that she is proud of Kangana, that she has always stood by the truth and mentioned she will continue to do so. Kangana’s mom then went on to thank honourable Home Minister Amit Shah for proving her daughter with security and said, “I thank Amit Shah for providing her security, had she not been given security, nobody knows what would have happened to her.”
