Earlier today, the Himachal Pradesh CM JR Thakur revealed that Kangana Ranaut's father wrote a letter requesting to provide security to his daughter. Now, security has been provided and also, a team of health officials have arrived at Manikarnika actress' residence to carry out the COVID-19 test, as reported by ANI. It could be a precautionary test ahead of their travel to Mumbai.
Earlier, CM of Himachal Pradesh, JR Thakur had revealed, "Actor Kangana Ranaut is daughter of our state. Her father has written to me, expressing his concerns over her security. I have informed my DGP, to assess the threat & take appropriate action. A police team will be deployed with her in Manali, today."

Apart from this, Kangana Ranaut has been provided Y+ security by the Center. The actress took to her Twitter handle to thank Home Minister Amit Shah for the same. She had also released a video hitting back at Sanjay Raut saying that she has the freedom to travel anywhere in this country.
