The acclaimed actress, best known for her role in Queen, Tanu Weds Manu and Manikarnika recently appeared in a Tamil horror comedy titled Chandramukhi 2. Her next project is an action-packed drama called Tejas, in which she takes on the role of an Air Force pilot. The movie is set to hit theaters next week on October 27. Additionally, Kangana Ranaut is also working on her directorial venture, "Emergency." This film narrates the events surrounding the 1975 emergency declared by then-Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Kangana portrays the late Mrs. Gandhi in this film, which also stars Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhry, Shreyas Talpade, Milind Soman, and the late Satish Kaushik. Originally scheduled for a November release, the film's premiere has been postponed by its makers to 2024.
