Kangana Ranaut has her hands full. She is looking forward to the release of her new film Panga directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari. Apart from that, the outspoken actor of Bollywood has now launched her own production house. She ventured into producing films through Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi and now she has inaugurated her production house. It is called Manikarnika films. A puja was held at the new office and Kangana's sister Rangoli Chandel shared the images on Twitter.
Putting up a few pictures, Rangoli wrote, "Today we inaugurated Kangana’s studio, Manikarnika films Kangana will work as a producer and director and Aksht will look after legal and finance departments he studied film production in New York film academy." The pictures see Kangana seated with folded hands as she performs the rituals of the puja. She looks elegant in a peach salwar kameez with huge earrings. Her brother can be seen seated next to her. Kangana had made the announcement of her production house soon after the period-drama released, but it's now that she has locked down on a place from which she'll operate.
During the release of Manikarnika, a lot of drama had ensued as she had shared the direction credits with South filmmaker Krish who was originally helming the film. After he left the film Midway, Kangana took charge of the direction.
Post the release of the film, Krish had taken to Twitter to slam Kangana and her direction. To this, Kangana had quoted to Mid Day, "Nothing succeeds like success. These people would have disowned the film if it was bad. These are the people who had abandoned it. [But] this is a good fight, where the cast and crew are bickering over who owns the movie more. We were able to make a clean film, no one has blamed me for distorting history. Personally, there is no controversy of great magnitude here. I don’t see any negativity attached to it outside the industry. I am satisfied with the audience’s response.”
