Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is a true force to be reckoned with. She has been making the headlines for quite sometime now for her blunt statements, calling out Bollywood’s ‘mafia’ as well as the ‘changu mangu’ gangs and her controversial takes. She recently took to Twitter to lash out at the makers of Tiger Shroff-Kriti Sanon starrer Ganpath for announcing their release date. It will be clashing with her movie Emergency on October 20, 2023.
Taking to the micro-blogging website, Kangana expressed her displeasure and questioned why the maker eyed her movie’s release date as the movie calendar year for Bollywood was pretty much free. In a series of tweets she revealed that she will also be announcing her release dates only a month in advance, along with the trailer. She added, “Announced his film on 20th October, entire October is free so is November, December and even September but today Mr Amitabh Bachchan and Tiger Shroff announced their ambitious project on 20th October.”

On the work front, Kangana Ranaut will be seen in Emergency, her first solo directorial project. She will be essaying the role of India’s late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. A period political drama, the movie is based on the emergency period in India during the mid-70s, which was announced by the then PM.
She will play the role of the late Prime Minister in the film. The movie also stars Anupam Kher, Milind Soman, Mahima Chaudhry, Satish Kaushik and Shreyas Talpade in pivotal roles. She also has RSVP Movies’ Tejas, Chandramukhi 2 and Manikarnika Returns: The Legend Of Didda in the pipeline.
