In the last couple of months, actress Kangana Ranaut has been in news for her hard-hitting statements and some controversial tweets. Now the Panga actress has landed in a legal hassle, as per reports in LiveLaw, a criminal case has been booked against the actress for her comment on Farmers’ protest. Just to give you a background, Kangana in her comment on the three farm bills passed by Parliament, was seen comparing protesting farmers to the terrorists and now this got the actress once again under the radar.
This criminal case has been filed against the actress in Karnataka, after Kangana tweeted, “People who spread misinformation and rumours about CAA that caused riots are the same people who are now spreading misinformation about Farmer’s bill and causing terror in the nation, they are terrorists. You very well know what I said but simply like to spread misinformation.” As per reports in LiveLaw advocate, Ramesh Naik has filed a complaint against her. The case has been filed in a local court in Karnataka.
Advocate Ramesh Naik was quoted saying, "This posting on twitter account of the accused posted by her may lead to collision between the people of different group believe in a different ideology. It seems that the government authorities have turned a blind eye to the same and does not have any established measures or rules and guidelines to control and regulate the same. On the bare perusal of all these content it is more than evident that the government is least bothered and as usual waiting for some dangerous consequences to happen before taking some appropriate actions,” by Bar and Bench.
