Kangana Ranaut's legal woes seem to see no end. While she is fighting against the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for demolishing her office calling it illegal construction, now, Karnataka Police has filed a case against the Manikarnika actress. After an advocate named L. Ramesh Naik filed a complaint against the actress for her tweet on farmers' protest, now a case has been filed by Karnataka police against Kangana Ranaut, as reported. This comes after a Karnatak Court passed an order to file a case against her. The case was filed by the police on Tuesday.

To the news agency, IANS, advocate Naik stated, "My case against popular Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is not to gain any publicity but to convey to her that what she did was wrong. When farmers take to the streets to protest against any government policy, they are not necessarily terrorists, as she thinks. I have joined many such protests, am I a terrorist? I need clarification on this and therefore I am fighting this case."

Kangana who is very active on social media had made a tweet about farmers' protest that irked many. She had tweeted, "People who spread misinformation and rumours about CAA that caused riots are the same people who are now spreading misinformation about farmers' bills and causing terror in the nation, they are terrorists." She had then even clarified that she did not call farmers ' terrorists'.

On the work front, Kangana Ranaut is currently shooting for her next film Thalaivi based on former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, J Jayalalitha.
