A few days ago, Kangana Ranaut had shared a video and alleged that the BMC officials entered her Mumbai office, Manikarnika Films without prior notice. The actress had mentioned in her tweet that they would be demolishing the property. Afterward, a ‘stop work’ notice was stuck by BMC official outside the bungalow, and Kangana also shared that the BMC has filed a caveat against her. As per reports, Kangana was given 24 hours to save her bungalow, as the Mumbai municipal corporation issued a 24-hour notice to the actress on Tuesday.
According to a report in Times Of India, the BMC issued a 24-hour notice on Tuesday seeking a reply from the actress about the alleged ‘illegal alteration and construction’ within her bungalow at Pali Hill, Bandra. It is a row house that has been converted into Kangana’s office. Times Of India reported assistant municipal commissioner (H-West ward) Vinayak Vispute saying that if Kangana fails to reply to the notice within 24 hours (Wednesday morning), the BMC will demolish unauthorised portion of the bungalow.
The letter shared by Kangana stated alleged unauthorized construction if a toilet, kitchen, pantry on the ground floor, and also mentioned an unauthorized room on the first floor. It also listed the illegal inclusion of a balcony on the second floor as habitable area.
