In the month September this year, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) had partially demolished actor Kangana Ranaut's property in Bandra, moments after sending her the notice. The incident took place while Kangana was on her way to Mumbai from Manali. Soon after, the actress registered a case against the government body and the verdict passed by the Bombay High Court was in her favour. Now, as per ANI, the Queen star has filed a caveat in the Supreme Court regarding this matter. It appears that Kangana doesn't want the court to pass any order without hearing her side.

ANI further revealed how the BMC has challenged the relief given by the Bombay HC to Kangana Ranaut. "Kangana Ranaut files caveat in Supreme Court, requesting that no order be passed without hearing her in case Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation challenges relief given to her by Bombay High Court order in property demolition matter," read their tweet. Last week, the Bombay HC had quashed BMC's demolition notice to the actress by calling it "malice in law" and that the latter's action “was actuated by mala fides.’’

The HC further heled how the purpose of using section 354A of the BMC Act (meant for ongoing illegal construction) was "more sinister'' and “mainly to prevent from taking legal recourse for… preventive action".

In response to the same, Kangana had expressed her satisfaction by tweeting, "When individual stands against the government and wins, it’s not the victory of the individual but it’s the victory of the democracy. Thank you everyone who gave me courage and thanks to those who laughed at my broken dreams. Its only cause you play a villain so I can be a HERO."
