Kangana Ranaut, on multiple occasions, has showcased that she is not a big fan of Alia Bhatt and she has often taken a swipe at the actress. However, it seems Kangana is ready to bury the hatchet as she indirectly showered love on Alia after she won the Best Actress award at the 69th National Film Awards.
Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanon shared the Best Actress Awards. Shortly after the winner's list was released, Kangana took to her Instagram handle and shared a story on her Instagram. Congratulating all the winners for their big wins, she also addressed her fans who were disappointed as she didn't win any awards for her film.
She wrote, "Congratulations to all the winners of #nationalawards2023. It's is such an art carnival that brings all the artists across the country together.... It's truly magical to know and to get introduced to so much important work that's happening across all languages... All of you who are disappointed that my film Thalaivii didn't win any... please know I am eternally greatful for whatever Krishna give and didn't give me and all of you who really love and appreciate me must appreciate my perspective as well ... Art is subjective and I truly believe that the jury did their best .... I wish everyone the best Hare Krishna."
Interestingly, Alia has even made her family proud by winning the Best Actress honour at the National Film Awards. Mahesh Bhatt, in an interaction with Pinkvilla, reacted to the news and expressed that he has been overflowing with pride as he watched his daughter win the national award.
