Reacting to the backlash she received, Kangana has defended her stand by citing an example of Sunny Leone. In her latest tweet, Kangana wrote, "Liberal brigade once virtually lynched a renowned writer in to silence for saying people like Sunny Leone should not be our role models, Sunny is accepted by the industry and entire India as an artist, suddenly fake feminists equating being a porn star to something derogatory."
Earlier, Urmila Matondkar gave out her reaction to Kangana calling her a 'soft porn star'. To NDTV, she said, "Which girl from a civilized culture would use this kind of language to say ‘Kya ukhaad loge,’ all of these words speaking in this manner about a senior colleague like Jaya Bachchan ji. Is it all in good taste? Is it all in any kind of Indian culture. Which page of Indian culture teaches this?”
