Kangana Ranaut called Karan Johar the flagbearer of nepotism on Koffee With Karan and since then the word has been her favourite. She and her sister Rangoli have time and again spoken on this topic and given it back to what they call a 'nepo gang'. Now, the twist is that Kangana is getting accused of the same. She started her own production house and
yesterday was its inauguration. Called Manikarnika Films, Kangana Ranaut has now ventured into producing films. She has also got her brother Aksht on board who will take care of legal matters. And that is why Nepotism has come back in the picture. A news report mentioned, that Aksht 'could not resist the lure of tinsel town.'
Rangoli Chandel pointed it out and set the record straight though. She took to Twitter to bash the news talking about Aksht and nepotism. She wrote, "Dear @mid_day Kangna & Aksht hv started a company togethr frm scratch,Aksht holds stakes in Manikarnika Films, hope dey grow togethr & build a successful company, den if u think Aksht deserves the tag den u pls call him Nepo Gang Abhi toh gaon basa nahin daku aa bhi gaye." Aksht is reportedly a pilot by profession.
In the next tweet though, she accepted that Aksht is getting the support of his sister and that he should be given a fair chance. "She may b wel established as an actor bt nt as a producer,Aksht wl handle legal & financial aspect which r father shud hv handled bt I agree he is getting his sister’s support so if he is successful in future he might b a nepo product let’s see, let’s give him a fair chance," she wrote.
Yesterday, while announcing the launch of the production house, Rangoli had tweeted a few pictures from the puja. In the images, we could see Kangana along with her brother performing the rituals.
