SpotboyE has now learnt that she has made yet another unusual demand to her Rangoon director, Vishal Bhardwaj.
For sometime now, various rumours have been surfacing about the film, which also stars Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan - all courtesy Ms Ranaut.
At one point, the buzz was that the makers (Vishal and producer Sajid Nadiadwala) were even thinking of replacing her.
A source close to the film told SpotboyE, "Earlier, Kangana wanted to be credited as the co-director of the film, but Vishalji refused. He made her understand that donning multiple hats will affect her performance on screen. Now, she has approached him again, with a request to be credited as the associate director. Vishal sir has still not reacted."
While she may have her own reasons and justifications, not many are supporting Kangana on the issue. A source close to the actress said, "It's strange. If Kangana wants to be credited for her directorial skills, she doesn't need to do it in someone else's film. She is well in a position, even financially, to start her own project. That will be a better way to prove her mettle."
The source added, "Many actors who felt they have what it takes to be a director have done it on their own, not by associating with someone else or suggesting some changes in the script or edit to bag a fancy designation in the film's credit roll."
Well, that does make sense, Kangana. Your fans will love watching a project helmed by you. So, choose a script, get into the director's shoes and showcase your vision on the screen.
Who knows, you'll probably be a 'Queen' filmmaker as well!
