Remember Jibraan Khan, the cutie who played the role of Krish, the son of Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham? The boy has grown up and is looking out for a break in the industry and his K3G director has turned out to be his mentor.
As per a report in a newspaper, Jibraan has been roped in as
an Assistant Director for Brahmastra. A source tells a leading daily, “Jibraan
has been roped in by Karan Johar as a chief Assistant Director (AD) for
Dharma’s biggest film till date. Jibraan will now work on Ayan Mukerji’s
Brahmastra, which stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan in lead
roles. He has already started working with the team.”
Before joining KJo, 22-year-old Jibraan trained himself in martial arts, kathak, and horse riding to make himself fit for a Bollywood debut. He even worked as a trainer at Shiamak Davar’s dance studio, where he himself was once a student. There were also reports that Jibraan approached KJo for a role but the director turned him down saying that his face is too young for his age and he needed to look more mature.
