Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham was a blockbuster, a film loved by masses and classes. Kajol who played a pivotal part in the film, received much love from her fan base for her feisty performance in the KJo flick. Even though the movie was creating box-office history and making its way into people’s hearts, it ‘wasn’t a happy time’ for Kajol and family.
Kajol opened up about the painful memories to ‘Official Humans of Bombay’ a popular Instagram account. “Over time, we began planning to have kids. I was pregnant during Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham in 2001, but had a miscarriage. I was in the hospital that day–the film had done so well, but it wasn’t a happy time. I had another miscarriage after that–it was tough.” “But eventually it worked out–we had Nysa and Yug and our family’s complete,” said the actress who will knock at cinemas tomorrow, sharing screen space with her huband Ajay Devgn, in Tanhaji; The Unsung Warrior. Recollecting the good old days she says, “I was dating someone at the time & so was he–I’ve even complained about my then boyfriend to him! Soon, we both broke up with our significant others. Neither of us proposed–it was understood that we were to be together. It went from hand-holding to a lot more before we knew it.”
