Bollywood actress Kajol is all set to make her much-awaited OTT debut with Disney+ Hotstar’s ‘The Trail’. Being one of the bankable actors in India, she is loved by the audience for her down-to-earth personality and witty remarks. She never shies away from expressing her opinions, no matter how much her statements don’t go down well with the netizens. Recently, during the promotions of her upcoming series, she commented on how India lacks political leaders with good educational backgrounds.

While a section of the internet agreed with her statement, many others brutally trolled her for being a school dropout herself. Quoted by Telly Chakkar, she expressed how changes in a country like India are very slow since the society is deeply rooted in their traditions. She said, “The change especially in a country like India is very slow because we are steeped in our traditions and thought processes and of course, it has to do with education. We have political leaders who do not have an educational system background. I am sorry but I am going to go out and say that.”

As soon as her statement went viral, netizens took to their social media handles to mock her and her husband, Ajay Devgn’s educational background.
