After the critically acclaimed film, Omkara, this is the second time where Saif Ali Khan and Ajay Devgn would be coming together again onscreen for Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior as Tanhaji Malusare and Udyabhan Rathod. In this film, the two will be seen as rivals who will be fighting against each other but Kajol who plays the wife of Tanhaji felt that Saif has betrayed them just like how he did in Omkara. She had shared her views on her now-deleted tweet but before you guys take it in a wrong way, it was all in good spirit. Giving you the back story, as the film is about to release in less than two weeks, Saif has jetted off for a well-deserved break in Switzerland with his family – Kareena Kapoor Khan, Taimur Ali Khan and Karisma Kapoor, leaving the promotions of the film.
For which, Kajol had took to her social media handle and shared a tweet which seemed like she is writing on behalf of Ajay Devgn, tweeting a picture of Saif and husband Ajay Devgn, she wrote, “You betrayed me in Omkara and now during promotions also... hope u read this in Switzerland #Saifalikhan.” LOL. Since Kajol has deleted this picture, guess, now he won’t be able to read the tweet. On the other hand, the real-life couple is busy promoting the film in various cities and platforms. Talking about the film, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is an Indian biographical period drama film based on the life of legendary Tanaji Malusare. The movie mainly focuses on the event which was occurred on 4th Feb 1670: The surgical strike that shook the Mughal Empire. The film stars Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan, Kajol, Sharad Kelkar in the lead roles.
Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior will be releasing on January 10, 2020, clashing it with Deepika Padukone and Vikrant Massey's Chhapaak.
