This Machine is non-functional. Mustafa Burmawalla’s Bollywood debut Machine has crashed and burned at the box-office. Veteran filmmaker Abbas Burmawalla’s son has not impressed the critics and the masses with his acting chops in the slick action thriller which saw him paired opposite Kiara Advani.
There are plenty of flop films in Bollywood--- but we can tell you that Machine, which released last Friday, has hit a new low.
On Monday, PVR Juhu was forced to cancel the afternoon show because the film managed to attract just a single viewer.
Confirming the story, Ravi Sibal of PVR Juhu told SpotboyE.com, “The afternoon show of Machine had to be cancelled due to lack of sufficient number of admits, but we managed to run the evening one."
Machine revolves around lovebirds Sarah and Ransh, who love fast cars. Soon after their wedding, Sarah is pushed over a cliff and Ransh vows to seek revenge.

Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan-Alia Bhatt starrer Badrinath Ki Dulhanis has proven to be a crowd-pleaser and theatre owners are cashing in on its appeal with several shows.
Interestingly, after the trailer of Machine was launched a few days big, controversial film critic had Kamaal R Khan (KRK) fired a big salvo. He compared the film with the film Tarzan– The Wonder Car, directed by Abbas-Mustan in 2004. KRK in his tweet had also mentioned that the producers of Tarzan -The Wonder Car had gone bankrupt after the film failed at the box-office.
Anyway, Mustafa should take the flop in his stride and return to the ticket windows with a bang.
