Deepika Padukone was in Goa when the summon was sent to her. Later, along with her husband Ranveer Singh, she flew down to Mumbai in a charter plane on September 24. She was expected to appear for questioning on September 25, however, she requested the NCB to push the session by a day. As reported by Times Now, Deepika has supposedly accepted to her drugs chat with manger Karishma Prakash that surfaced in the media earlier. However, there's still no confirmation over whether she accepted to consuming drugs or not.

Apart from Deepika, actresses Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor too appeared in front of the NCB for interrogation. They are still in the NCB office. Sara and Shraddha's name emerged reportedly after Rhea Chakraborty named them during her interrogation sessions by the NCB. However, Rhea Chakraborty's lawyer categorically denied that his client has not given out any names to NCB.
