After captivating us with a super trailer of Super 30, the makers have now released the first song from the album, titled, Jugraafiya featuring Hrithik Roshan and Mrunal Thakur in the leads. Udit Narayan and Shreya Ghoshal have lent their voices for the song that has been penned down by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
The soft romantic number showcases the sweet romance between Hrithik Roshan and Mrunal Thakur's characters. As young lovers, Hrithik and Mrunal are seen stealing moments of romance as they go about attending a dance class and a math class, respectively. It also shows how their love blossoms when they start talking over the phone. While Amitabh Bhattacharya’s lyrics use the perfect names of subjects like geography and mathematics to talk about love. Hrithik and Mrunal's chemistry seems very relatable. While the upbeat music is pretty soothing and catchy, it will surely hit all the right chords. Watch the song below:
Sharing the video of the song, Hrithik tweeted, "Kar ke gustaakhiyaan, Maange na maafiyaan, Teri chaahat ne badla mere dil ka #Jugraafiya! Song out now."
The song also gives a few glimpses of Nandish Singh, who is seen as good of Hrithik in the film.
Talking about the film, Super 30 traces the story of mathematician Anand Kumar who teaches 30 underprivileged students every year and helps them crack IIT JEE. It is an inspirational story of his struggle and achievement, and how one man makes a difference in the lives of underprivileged students.
The film also stars Amit Sadh and Pankaj Tripathi in the lead roles. Super 30 is scheduled to hit the theatres on July 12, 2019.
