There is definitely no looking back for actor Siddhant Chaturvedi. Marking his silver screen debut with Gully Boy in the year 2019, the audiences have just seen this actor climb the ladder of success. His character of M.C. Sher was an immense hit among the audiences and the flick also happened to be India’s official entry for Oscars 2020 under the Best International Film category. However, the film couldn’t make a spot in the final nomination list which was released recently. 

But there is no reason to be disappointed. The actor is left overwhelmed as Gully Boy got praised by a legendary cricket player, Jonty Rhodes. The cricketer in his latest Tweet mentioned how he has been listening to the film's tracks ever since he met Siddhant last year at an event. And now finally after watching the movie, the actor applauded the movie and the performances of the cast. All thanks to the makers who released the film with subtitles for global audiences. His tweet read, “Been listening to the #GullyBoy soundtrack ever since meeting @SiddhantChturvD last year at an event,  finally got to watch the entire movie on my @emirates to India last night. These praiseworthy words by the legendary cricketer got Siddhant to respond in a positive manner. Replying to this tweet, Siddhanth wrote, “Oh yes!! I am glad you enjoyed it sir,” followed by happy face emoji.




Siddhanth will be next seen alongside Deepika Padukone and Ananya Panday in Shakun Batra’s directorial, followed by Bunty Aur Babli’s sequel and lastly he has also confirmed of sharing screen space with Katrina Kaif in a horror flick.
