Jolly LLB 2 which stars Akshay Kumar as a rabblerousing lawyer, has finally ended its own courtroom drama.

The film will release this week without scenes that allegedly poke fun at lawyers, according to reports.

India's Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) had cleared the comedy-drama but the Bombay High Court intervened, demanding that four scenes be dropped. After asking the Supreme Court to over-rule that decision, the film's producer, Fox Studios, today reportedly changed its mind and said it will accept the edits ordered by the High Court.

The producers will make the four cuts dictated by the Bombay HC.

The lead actor of the film, Akshay Kumar, confirmed that four cuts have been made in a single scene of the film.

Akshay told a section of the media: "I respect High Court's decision. They must have made the decision keeping everything in mind. It's the High Court, you have to abide by their rules and I always believe in abiding by the rules and we have made the changes. There is no argument about it. There will be four cuts in one scene and that whole thing has been done. The movie is releasing on February 10."

The references to Lucknow, where the film is set, too have been either replaced or muted in four places.

The film revolves around a lawyer’s fight against a corrupt system which protects the guilty and stars Akshay Kumar, Huma Qureshi and Annu Kapur.
