Not so long ago, John Abraham had said: “Marathi films are doing so well; I see a lot of scope in this industry. So, I have no qualms admitting that I'm ready to produce a Marathi film.”

And now, he is converting his dream into reality.

SpotboyE.com has it that the Rocky Handsome actor has zeroed in on a script for which he is in advance talks with filmmakers Subodh Bhave and Swapna Waghmare Joshi.

Subodh has directed Katyar Kaljat Ghusali (2015) and acted with Rani Mukerji in Aiyya (2012). Waghmare Joshi is the director of the Swapnil Joshi-Anjana Sukhani Marathi flick Laal Ishq, which hit theatres in May this year.

“It’s a toss-up between Bhave and Joshi. Let's see who reaches the winning post first,” says a source in the know.

As far as his Hindi productions are concerned on date, John has churned out Vicky Donor (2012), Madras Cafe (2013) and Rocky Handsome (2016).
