It's an irony of
sorts, but Bollywood mein sab kuch hota hai. John Abraham's upcoming film
Satyamev Jayate, helmed by Milap Zaveri, has got an A certificate. The decision
has come as a slight surprise.
Milap who
directed the sex comedy Mastizaade and wrote Grand Masti, Masti and Kyaa Kool
Hain Hum 3 may have thought that he could bring the kids in with Satyamev
Jayate. However, talking to SpotboyE.com, he maintains, "No, I had a
feeling that Satyamev Jayate will get an A certificate only."

SpotboyE.com also
has it that Milap and the film's producer Nikkhil Advani approached the
Revising Committee so that the decision of the
Examining Committee could be reversed- but in vain.
A source says,
"Obviously they had to try. There have been many instances in the past
when after few changes, the film has managed to get a U from the former A that
it was granted."

So why has Milap
got an A? Is it also true that certain lyrics were chopped from a song because
the Censor Board found those inflammatory? "I have used background music
in that portion. A few lyrics of a certain song had to be deleted," Milap
confirms.
Milap Zaveri And John Abraham
"Satyamev
Jayate is not for kids. It has violence, no doubt. It is not a popcorn film.
There is a very important Muharram sequence where there is blood. John kills corrupt
cops in the film. It is targetted at the mass audience. It makes a very strong
statement against corruption and violence on women," he adds.
