90s heroine, actor Ayesha Jhulka has entertained her fans with her stellar performances. The actress worked in films like Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander, Khilaadi, 1991 film Kurbaan, Dalaal, Jai Kishen, Maasoom and several others had a long illustrious career. She marked her Bollywood debut in 1991 and won hearts with her acting skills in the years later. In an interview recently, Ayesha Jhukla opened up about the films she rejected during her illustrious career. The Khilaadi fame also spoke about the film she regrets not doing.
Speaking with ETimes, when asked if she rejected any films only to regret it later, Ayesha Jhulka revealed that there were many movies that she couldn’t do. She said, “There were a lot of films that I couldn’t do. I couldn’t do Mani Ratnam’s ‘Roja’ due to date issues and I regretted it.” The actress revealed that she couldn’t do Mani Ratnam’s film Roja that starred Arvind Swami and Madhoo in lead roles. Jhulka mentioned that date issues was the reason behind her rejection and shared that she regretted it.
The actress added, “Then there was a Rama Naidu film, 'Prem Qaidi' which I had to reject because I was supposed to be introduced in a bikini in the film.” Ayesha said that she had to also reject the film Prem Qaidi because she was supposed to be introduced in a bikini in the movie.
Meanwhile, Ayesha Jhulka also spoke about her Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar co-star Aamir Khan. She said that Aamir is one such “actor who always has his head on his shoulders” and revealed that he works really hard to get into the character. Ayesha revealed that her character is Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar was all her and mentioned she was just the same when younger.
