JNU violence has not only divided the nation into two but also our Bollywood celebs. A few are coming out in the open to strongly voice their opinion about the ongoing situation in the country and many others have chosen to not react to the situation. But there are a few, who are waiting for the facts to emerge so that they can react accordingly, just like Ajay Devgn. Days after the JNU violence, Tanhaji actor Ajay Devgn finally breaks his silence over the issue.
Taking to Twitter, Ajay Devgn, whose latest film Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior hit the screens yesterday, tweeted, “I have always maintained that we should wait for proper facts to emerge. I appeal to everyone- let us further the spirit of peace and brotherhood, not derail it either consciously or carelessly #JNUViolence.” His reaction after so many days didn’t seem to go down well with his Cash (2007) director Anubhav Sinha. Slamming the actor, the filmmaker wrote, “Exactly!!!! I am still waiting. You done waiting????” (ALSO READ: Chhapaak, Tanhaji Box-Office Collections Day 1: Ajay Devgn Starrer Beats Deepika Padukone’s Film)
Agreeing with Sinha, Twitterati commented saying, “Sir these are spineless people who only speak when they are sure they will be applauded.  Whenever they are asked to pick a side they always choose a middle path. They have no consciousness..” “Ajay can’t come out and have a backlash on his Movie and allow his crew to suffer so many families depend on including Saif and Kareena. Our 3 Khan’s are also sailing in the same boat a sinking boat" read another comment.
Anubhav Sinha and Devgn tussle go back to the time when both worked together in Cash and the actor was upset with Sinha as there was no mention of producer Sohail Maklai in the promos of Cash. Devgn had agreed to star in the film only for Maklai, who has been a close friend of the actor. The Shivaay actor had refused to be associated with Cash till Maklai was given his credit.
