Due to the nationwide lockdown, shooting for many movies and shows came to a standstill and amongst them, Shahid Kapoor's Jersey was also one of them. However, as the lockdown stress is getting relaxed and the production houses have resumed work, it is reported that Shahid starrer Jersey is also all set to resume the shooting. According to a report in Mid-Day, the shooting of Jersey will be resumed this month itself. Well, if the recent reports are to be believed, it is time for Shahid to put on his helmet, pull up his socks and hit the pitch again for Jersey. Reportedly, the shooting will start in Chandigarh and the makers are currently working out the logistics.
The team is said to be heading back to Chandigarh by September-end to wrap up the shoot of the sports drama. "About 15 days' work is pending. However, before he returns to face the camera, Shahid will have to brush up on his cricket skills as crucial sports scenes will be shot in this schedule. The actor is likely to begin training next week," revealed a source to the daily.
Shahid's father Pankaj Kapur will also be starring in this film where he asserted that he will be shooting amidst the lockdown. "Recently, I was asked whether I would be comfortable shooting [amid the current restrictions] and I gave my nod. The makers are working out the logistics," he said.
