Tremendous success of Kabir Singh at the box office resulted into actor Shahid Kapoor finally being arrived at the box office. Kabir Singh was a remake of a Telugu hit film, Arjun Reddy, now Shahid is busy with yet another flick titled Jersey, which also happens to be a Telugu hit sport drama. As per reports, makers are not leaving any stone unturned; they have roped in professional coaches to sharpen Shahid’s cricketing skills. It’s not one individual but a team of eight members, hired to train Shahid for the flick.
As per reports in Times of India, makers have roped in Indian cricket player Rohit Sharma’s coach Dinesh Lal for the flick. Besides which he is also being trained under the guidance of State-level Ranji Trophy coaches. The Kabir Singh too is super excited as he gets trained under Dinesh Lal. The actor himself was part of cricket teams during his college and later also played matches for clubs. In the November when the actor was shooting for the film, he learnt few of batting techniques from Dinesh Lal.
It was also reported of the actor learning some footwork and varied style of stroke from the coach.

Though the film’s shoot has been half way, the actor to make it look authentic often practices for the sport. Now as the actor is shooting in Chandigarh, he is being trained under coaches from Haryana.
