Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry with her versatile acting performances and on-point fashion statements. She is one of the few actresses from her generation, who can carry every outfit with utmost grace and elegance. Currently busy promoting her upcoming movie Mr And Mrs Mahi, co-starring Rajkummar Rao, she has been making the headlines for wearing customised cricket-themed clothes. Recently during an interaction with Mashable India’s The Bombay Journeys, she spoke about the effort her team takes in styling her for events and promotions.
The 27-year-old actress, who is all set to make her Telugu entertainment industry debut with Jr NTR’s Devara, praised her stylists for sourcing and renting her clothes. She revealed how she is doing her bit towards saving the environment by renting outfits. Shedding more light on the same, Kapoor shared, “Whenever the stylists call for clothes, they’re mostly rented. The shoes and rings are mine, but the necklace and bracelets are not mine. The shirt is also not mine. Bhaade ke hain! These are customised for me, but they’ve all been rented. This entire look is put together by renting clothes and accessories. In sabko lautana padta hai. Does that qualify as being sustainable?”
